Christmas Church Service
We are looking forward to seeing all our families for a Festive Service at St. Mary the Less in Allerton Bywater at 9.30am on Tuesday 18th December.
This service will be our last Christmas Service at church with Rev'd Jean as she will be retiring in January. Tea, coffee and mince pies will be available in the school hall for all parents who are able to help us walk the children to church.
If I don't get to see you before Christmas I would like to wish you all an enjoyable Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thank you for your continued support in helping me to move the school towards outstanding!

Leeds Town Hall Choir
What an amazing evening we had last night at the Leeds Town Hall, Our school choir along with 47 other schools sounded fantastic. Thank you to all the parents who came to support the children I am sure you were very proud of them (we were).
A huge thank you to Mrs Fox who has trained the singers over the past few weeks. They have learnt so much in such a short amount of time. Also thank you to Miss McVeigh who has also supported the choir and given up her time as Mrs Fox has to ensure the children could attend the rehearsals and dress rehearsal.

More photographs for you from Residential
We have just arrived back at the Priory after the day walk. Some of the children were reluctant to walk any distance at all when we set out this morning. However when we successfully climbed Calver Hill, 480m high, the children experienced a real sense of achievement and this encouraged them to persevere with the afternoon river study and walk along the river swale.
We are so proud of them.
We are so proud of them.
The week has passed by very quickly indeed and the behaviour at the priory has been outstanding. The children have learnt many new skills that they can take back into the classroom. We look forward to seeing you all at 12pm tomorrow with your children. I am certain you will hardly recognise them they have changed so much.
Here are some more photos for you to enjoy...
